Citizens of Slovakia who wish to visit India should apply for the eVisa, but they should fulfill certain conditions and provide the essential documents in order to complete filling the visa application form successfully.

  • Valid Slovakia passport
  • Scanned copy of passport (first page of the passport comprising the biography or personal details)
  • Scanned recent passport-size photo (the photo should meet the criterias like it should have white background, normal expression, only the face, etc)
  • Email address that's working, all the information regarding eVisa will be mailed through this ID.
  • Credit/Debit card for the fee payment of the eVisa application submission
  • Travel plan details like your entry and exit dates, accommodation, sightseeing places, etc.

India Visa Types Available for Slovak Nationals

Slovak citizens wishing to travel to India can choose from different types of eVisas, each e-visa type has specific requirements that applicants must meet. The different categories of e-visa types are listed below:

Business eVisa

The eVisa is offered for one-year which allows multiple-entries, but stay is limited to 180 days (6 months). Slovak citizens who are planning to visit India for commercial or business activities can apply without any worries. In order to apply for this visa the applicant needs to present his business card or letter in a letterhead from the organization or company in India inviting him.

Tourist eVisa

This visa is offered for one-year and allows multiple entries, visits limited to 90 days (3 months) stay. Slovak citizens can without an ease apply for this visa for visiting friends and family members, for exploring the sightseeing places, for attending recreation activities like yoga sessions and meditations.

Medical eVisa

The visa is offered for one-year and allows three-entries, limited to 60 days (2 months) stay. Slovak citizens who have to get medical treatment or surgery or consult a doctor in India, can apply for this visa. In order to apply for this visa type, Slovak citizens need to provide a letterhead from the hospital in India with the name of the patient mentioning the details about the treatment, etc.

Medical Attendant eVisa

This e-visa is offered to travelers who are accompanying the patient who has the Medical eVisa and only two persons are allowed to apply. This visa also has a validity period and stay limit same as the medical eVisa.

Conference eVisa

This visa is for Laos travelers who have to visit India to attend international business conferences.

Note: It is necessary for Slovaks to apply for the right visa-type considering the need of their travel to India, choosing the wrong visa-type might require rejection of application forms.

In order to receive the approved eVisa, the Slovak citizens must make sure to follow certain guidelines. The standard time taken to process the eVisa is 3-4 days, however, if the applicant has submitted incomplete form, inaccurate information, lack of proper documents, etc, might lead to delays or even rejection. It is suggested that applicants applied for eVisa at least 8 days in advance to avoid any unnecessary delays in the application form.

The applicant must make sure to get the print out of the eVisa and keep a digital copy as well, as they will be required to present at the airport at the border checkpoints.
